1. What is the project timeline, when will the first units be available for purchase/rental?

Currently, we are working through the Rezoning and permitting stages of the project. We anticipate this process taking approximately one year with the aim of being actively under construction in 2023. Once we are move advanced in the permitting phase we will be able to forecast purchase and rental schedules.

2. What types of units will be available?

a. Modular rental apartments 1 and 2 bedrooms

b. Stacked townhouses – 1 and 2 bedroom units

c. Family Homes – Single-family up to 3 bedrooms and duplexes 1400-1700 square feet

d. Waterfront Homes – 3 bedrooms, 1800 square feet; some with additional 1 bedroom suites

3. What is the expected sale price for units?

We are not able to predict sale prices currently. With the uncertainty around permitting timelines, we are unable to estimate construction costs. As we progress through the permitting stage we will provide pricing updates.

4. How are you prioritizing those who are interested in the development?

5. When can people who are on the list expect to hear from you?

We will be providing quarterly updates as we progress through the permitting phase and information on important information regarding the project.

6. What do you mean by Attainable Housing?

Housing that can be attained by a significant portion of the local staff and resident community of Ucluelet, now and for the life span of the community.

7. Will you be working with the province on any financial assistance plans or programs?

We are in the initial phase of discussion with both provincial and federal financial assistance programs for affordable rental units and attainable home ownership.

8. What are your plans related to infrastructure development? If any?

The project will provide several community gathering and outdoor spaces. We are working with the District of Ucluelet engineering staff and our own civil engineering consultant to make sure that all required infrastructure is built into the project.
